In this writer s opinion this is Switzerland s best presented hotel The craftsmanship involved in every aspect of its restoration is a credit to all involved Highly recommended RY 0208 This is a very grand building which is very traditional in style and therefore blends in very well with its surroundings This hotel is centrally located next to the Bundeshaus the seat of government and within walking distance of the medieval city centre with its quaint shopping arcades and legendary fountains Room TypesGuest Rooms The large rooms have all recently undergone a full meticulous renovation to the highest of standards Most are traditional in style whilst those on the top floor are unashamedly modern but all benefit from the most up to date technology available including flat screen TV s and high speed internet connections It goes without saying that both the rooms and the fabulous granite clad bathrooms are in absolutely exceptional condition It will prove virtually impossible to find accommodation of a higher standard in Europe
