Championship Award winning Millbrook Resort is also close by just three minutes drive from the front gate of Willowbrook and we are within easy reach of 5 skifields and 4 very picturesque golf courses The four acres of mature garden surrounding the Main House of Willowbrook contain a tennis court a luxurious spa pool and some very friendly sheep The MAIN HOUSE built in 1914 has been lovingly renovated and now features modern comforts such as central heating ensuite bathrooms free wireless internet and Sky TV The lounge has an open fire sofas guest computer fridge and tea coffee making facilities There are three double rooms in the Main House Super king bed with ensuite bathroom shower wash basin and toilet Queen bed with ensuite bathroom shower wash basin and toilet Twin king single beds with private bathroom shower bathtub wash basin and toilet Electric blankets are standard and each room has a hair dryer and radio alarm The super king and twin single rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed extra charge in case a party of three does not wish to be separated A delicious continental breakfast of juice peeled and sliced fresh fruit yoghurt cereal homemade bread and tea or coffee is included in the room rate in the Main House and is served in the dining area by the fire in the guest lounge As agents for most of the local operators we can answer your questions and make bookings for you Our self catering accommodation comprises The COTTAGE and The BARN Both are within the gardens of Willowbrook only a short distance from The Main House The COTTAGE provides delightfully comfortable accommodation for 4 max 5 people It has queen and twin bedrooms both with ensuite bathroom one with large wet area and bathtub The twin room can accommodate a rollaway bed extra charge Underfloor heating throughout keeps the polished concrete floors warm to the touch and full kitchen and laundry facilities give all the conveniences of home The Cottage has free wireless internet Sky TV DVD and a gas barbecue on the sundeck which surrounds The Cottage Views are up to Coronet Peak and over wetlands to the west With its own parking area privacy is guaranteed and if you do need any help or advice Trish and Tony the managers of Willowbrook are only a short walk away in the Main House The BARN is a tastefully renovated hay barn consisting of two very large rooms and one bathroom The larger of the two rooms is set out in studio apartment style with a super king bed ensuite bathroom lounge dining area with tables chairs and sofas and a fully equipped kitchenette with cooktop microwave oven toaster electric jug coffee plunger and plenty of fridge space Through a connecting door is The Annex which has twin single beds and two bunk beds and shares the bathroom of the main room There is a covered deck with gas barbecue and the property has Sky TV DVD free wireless internet and powerful gas heating Maximum occupancy is 6 The Barn also has its own parking area and is only a short walk from the Main House should you need any advice on the many things to see and do in this exciting region Simply wander over to the Main House and Trish and Tony will be only too happy to help Surrounding AreaWillowbrook is located on the back road between Queenstown and Arrowtown Malaghans Road We are about 3km from Millbrook Resort in the Queenstown direction Coming from Cromwell on Route 6 turn right towards Arrowtown at Lake Hayes Amisfield Winery on corner Go about 5km and just before Arrowtown turn left into Malaghans Road Sign says Queenstown and Coronet Peak Millbrook Resort is on left Willowbrook is a few minutes further along that road also on left Coming up from Te Anau Invercargill on Route 6 cross the Kawarau Falls single lane bridge pass Queenstown Airport on right and come to roundabout Straight on is BP service station Queenstown is to the left Wanaka Cromwell Dunedin are to the right Turn right and follow road for 3 km crossing Shotover River
